Symposium Strengthening Refugee Children in Daycare Centers and Schools in Osnabrück on May 30, 2016

The increase in new immigration and in particular refugees from war and crisis zones places high demands on professionals from daycare centers, schools, youth and social work with regard to their pedagogical work. In the symposium, professionals from educational institutions received concrete and practice-relevant answers to questions about dealing with refugee children as well as suggestions for practical implementation. The focus was on professional exchange and the development of solution approaches based on concrete challenges and problems (case work). Experts from all relevant areas of counseling and guidance in the region were involved.
